First of all I wish Everyone a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

This year has been tough on me physically.  At the beginning of the year I slipped in the tub and landed funny.  This fall caused my disc to herniate and it's pinching two nerves, one of which is my sciatic nerve.  Ouch! My lower back has been inflamed a couple of times and during those times I'm literally stuck resting in bed.  But God has been helping me learn how to take life a little more easier and only take 1 step at a time.

Our son, Theo, has been such a blessing.  When I am having a bad day, he quietly plays beside me while I'm resting.  He is such a content child.  He's 3 now and loves watching Thomas and Friends and Curious George episodes.  I'm very proud to say he is finally potty trained, Hallelujah!  That is a big worry of my back.

Creatively I have made lots of cards, not as many as I usually do, but still a fair bit.  I've also made a rag quilt for my great-nephew, Seth, and I'm currently making another for my new niece, Allia.

Below is just some of the cards I've made in the last year.

  God bless,

  Joyce
