So I'm finally on the mend. Life has been very interesting the last couple of months. Not only did I get kidney stones, I also ended up with gallbladder stones! My body didn't get a break either. I ended up getting 2 very bad colds, along with a nasty fall down the downstairs. Ending up with a baseball size of a goose egg on my bum! LOL! All in all, I'm healed for all my ailments and ready to get crafty once again. Yea!
These past two weeks I meant a wonderful new stamping friend who I met online through a swap group. Finding out we live very close, we've started to hang out and stamp together. She helped me out today as my mojo just wasn't flowing. It was a great visit and great getting to know each other better. Thank You, Lord, for new friends!
So homeschooling challenges keep coming our way. The new curriculum is working wonders for both my son and I. Very simple to teach and comprehend. We choose to go with Christian Light Education (CLE). It amazes me how they use various ways to teach one lesson. I love it! It takes the guess work out trying to put lessons together. Makes life so much easier.
So below I'm sharing a few cards that made during a stenciling class over at StampNation.
The first class was on the basics of stenciling.
A little challenge was set as well, to use only 2 main colours with the same stencil.
The second class was about Masking and Sponging with Stencils.
The 4th class was about Making Your Own Stencils.
There were about 19 classes all together! It was amazing! I did make two other cards one from class 8: Watercolour Stencil and one card for class 9: Selective Stenciling with Markers. They used Zig Markers, but I improvised with Copic Markers, since I don't own any Zig markers.
Hope you enjoy the cards as much as I did in making them. Hopefully, you can be inspired through them just as I was.
Hope you have a blessed week!
Yours Truly,
Joyce
